There are rising stars, there are world famous DJ's, and then there are legends like DJ Craze. Oft lauded for more than a decade for mastering and conquering the drum and bass scene, for creating finesse roots in the hip hop scene, and for his crowd roaring turntablism routines, he is now headlining shows alongside Justice, Steve Aoki, and MSTRKRFT. Hailing from Miami, he earned his claim to fame as a turntablism prodigy in 1998 winning the World DMC Championships at the ripe age of 20 and winning it again for two consecutive years. He then found affinity with A-Trak and formed the Allies with whom he went on take home every DJ title known to this music culture. Craze has one of the most impressive resumes and the rush of imaginative genius has never halted. In 2008, Craze joined Kanye West on his In The Dark Tour with N.E.R.D, Rhianna, and Lupe Fiasco, and all the while has been in the studio honing, crafting, producing, and remixing.
Although initially a purveyor of hip hop, he has smashed down his boundaries and marked a shift in style. His sets are now rife with the grinding sounds of electro, dance rock, and dub step. Most recently he is internationally and unquestionably filling floors at high profile clubs and festivals like Coachella with A-Trak, Klever, Kill the Noize, Jack Beats, and AC Slater.
Don't expect Crazes' rapid fire cut and paste signature scratching sound, expect him to excite and intoxicate Fantasia's electronic dance floor, alongside Treasure Fingers (Fools Gold, NY), with the same hard hitting and fist pumping sounds that have made the electro movement explode around the world, making it impossible to stand still.
